The world’s most famous stalker is returning! You, the hit Netflix psychological thriller, is soon coming back with its fourth season. The show, which first premiered in 2018, follows Joe Goldberg, who becomes infatuated with different women and starts stalking them.
In the upcoming season, Goldberg has moved to London and taken up a new identity to get rid of his past, but his stalking instincts arise again. Like the first three installments, the fourth season will also feature 10 episodes.
However, instead of dropping all episodes at once like the usual practice, Netflix has decided to split the season into parts that will be released separately.

Joe Goldberg is Living a New Life in London in You Season 4
After staging a murder-suicide and heading to Paris in the previous season finale, Goldberg has moved to London to begin a new life. Netflix unveiled the season’s trailer last month, which showed the stalker working as a professor. However, he is again getting obsessed with a new woman. Meanwhile, a serial killer lurks around the city targeting the elites.
The official synopsis of the season reads, “After his previous life went up in flames, Joe Goldberg has fled to Europe to escape his “messy” past, adopt a new identity, and, of course, to pursue true love.”
“But Joe soon finds himself in the strange new role of reluctant detective as he discovers he may not be the only killer in London. Now, his future depends on identifying and stopping whoever’s targeting his new friend group of uber-wealthy socialites,” it reads further.
Goldberg has Learned from his Mistakes, Says Showrunner
Talking about the upcoming season, showrunner Sera Gamble revealed why they decided to move Joe abroad in the storyline. “It’s fun to put someone who knows literary tropes into one of the tropiest stories possible, and it fits nicely with the idea that he’s genuinely going to be different now,” she explained.
“He’s done murdering, he’s learned from his mistakes and he’s going to do what it takes to right the karmic scales. That doesn’t just mean grow a beard and teach, it also means maybe that you have to try to protect the very people previously would’ve had you at least look the other way, if not actively participate in what was going on with,” she added.
You season 4 stars Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg, Tati Gabrielle as Marienne Bellamy, Lukas Gage as Adam Pratt, Charlotte Ritchie as Kate, Tilly Keeper as Lady Phoebe, Amy-Leigh Hickman as Nadia, and Ed Speleers as Rhys Montrose.
