Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 8 Release Date and Time
The show will be returning from its mid-season break in January 2023. The eighth episode of season 5 will premiere on Paramount on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 8 pm ET / 7 pm CT / 5 pm PT, which means the season is only going on a small hiatus for the holiday season.
For streaming, the episode will be made available on Paramount+ on Monday, January 9, 2023. Yellowstone season 5 is set to have 14 episodes, which makes it the biggest season so far. In comparison, the first season featured nine episodes, and the subsequent installments comprised 10 episodes each.
The fifth season is split into two parts, with 7 episodes each. Before the break, the show followed a weekly schedule, with new episodes coming out every Sunday. The same schedule will be followed once the season returns in January.
Yellowstone Season 5: What Happened So Far?
The ongoing season began with John Dutton being elected as the governor of Montana, which brought a significant political change in the state. The move ruined the plans of Dutton’s enemies, Market Equities, who wanted to construct an airport on the Yellowstone Ranch.
Caroline Warner, furious over the development, decides to take down the Duttons and brings in corporate lawyer Sarah Atwood to carry out the task. The lawyer then starts to target Jamie and tries to influence him. Jamie also gives in and starts sleeping with her, not knowing her true motives.
What to Expect from Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2?
The Dutton family is expected to face new problems and challenges when the fifth season returns with episode 8. John’s son, Jamie, is currently making a plan to become the governor by impeaching his father.
He is also hooking up with Sarah Atwood from Market Equities, who is a rival of the Duttons. Meanwhile, Thomas Rainwater is upset about John not paying attention to the reservation. He is also worried about the actions the US Fish and Wildlife Parks officers will take against him for accidentally killing the endangered wolves.
