The Legend of Vox Machina Season 3: Renewal Status and Potential Release Date
In an exciting development, The Legend of Vox Machina will be coming back with a third season. Amazon had announced the renewal of the show in October 2022, three months before the second season started airing. Earlier, the second installment was also confirmed even before the show’s debut.
The first season premiered on Prime Video on January 28, 2022, and went on till February 18, 2022, airing three episodes every week. The second season premiered on January 20, again airing three episodes weekly. If the same trend is followed, the third season is expected to be dropped at the end of January 2024.
The Legend of Vox Machina Season 3 Expected Storyline
The third season will probably cover the Taryon Darrington arc of Dungeons & Dragons. The story takes place after the group defeats the Chroma Conclave and travels to Vasselheim. Three main plot lines form the arc: the introduction of Darrington, the new recruit in the group, Keyleth finishing the final part of her spiritual pilgrimage, and the destruction of Hotis.
The official synopsis of the show reads, “They’re rowdy, they’re ragtag, they’re misfits turned mercenaries for hire. Vox Machina is more interested in easy money and cheap ale than actually protecting the realm.”
“But when the kingdom is threatened by evil, this boisterous crew realizes that they are the only ones capable of restoring justice. What began as a simple payday is now the origin story behind Exandria’s newest heroes,” it reads further.
“After saving the realm from evil and destruction at the hands of the most terrifying power couple in Exandria, Vox Machina is faced with saving the world once again—this time, from a sinister group of dragons known as the Chroma Conclave,” says the official description of the ongoing season.
