What is the series ‘Wilderness’ all about?
For those out on the loop, let us share with you, that Wilderness is a thriller series created by Marnie Dickens for Amazon Prime Video. It is based on the novel of the same name by B.E. Jones. It consists of a total of six episodes.
The series narrates the tale of a young married British couple who seem to have figured out everything. Jenna Coleman and Oliver Jackson-Cohen have played the lead roles in the series.
A twist in the fairytale romance of the pair’s rock-solid marriage and their glamourous New York lifestyle comes when Liv Taylor (played by Jenna Coleman) finds out that her husband, Will Taylor (played by Oliver Jackson-Cohen) has had a secret affair with a work colleague.
Soon after finding out about Will’s betrayal, Liv’s heartbreak turns into fury. In the blink of an eye, her love changes into hatred. It ignites a fire in her heart to take revenge. Then, the couple goes on a road trip around America’s National Parks and things get messy when the said colleague shows up there.
Where was Amazon Prime Video’s new series ‘Wilderness’ shot?
The Prime Video series Wilderness was mainly filmed in Vancouver, Canada. The filming locations that were featured during the shooting of the series included New York City, the Grand Canyon, Calgary, and Las Vegas.
The production on the show kicked off in April 2022. The primary location of the series was the Canadian city of Vancouver. It is a popular filming location which is surrounded by mountains.
In addition to this, some portions of the thriller series were also shot in the city of Calgary and the Banff Springs Hotel within the Banff National Park in Alberta. It has been revealed by various media outlets that additional shooting took place in the United Kingdom.

Yeah, you read that right. Grammy-winning pop star Taylor Swift’s hit song Look What You Made Me Do serves as the theme song of the series Wilderness. It seems like a perfect match for the new show.
You can also hear Taylor’s popular song Look What You Made Me Do in the official trailer of the series. The song is the lead single of Swift’s sixth studio album called Reputation which saw the light of day in the year 2017.
