Lisa Vanderpump is closing her ‘Pump’ restaurant
During an interview with E! News, Lisa said, “It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that the lease at Pump Restaurant is expiring and we will be closing its doors on July 5th after 10 years of beautiful evenings under our olive trees.”
The Bravo TV star further added, “While we have loved our time operating Pump, to take on another 10-year lease with a huge increase in rent by the landlords, is not something we are ready to commit to. After successfully running 37+ establishments for many years, this type of rent is untenable.”
Although, the landlord has denied the claims made by Lisa. According to a report by TMZ, the landlord has stated that all the statements made by Vanderpump are “not accurate. The landlord said, “We did not raise the rent and in fact have been nothing but supportive as they tried to catch up on lease obligations including forgiving some rent during Covid.”
The 62-year-old restauranteur concluded by saying, “Thank you for the past decade of support, we have loved our staff, our patrons and our time together.”

The ‘Pump’ restaurant which was opened in the year 2014 quickly became a hotspot for top celebrities like Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lawrence, and Miley Cyrus. You have seen the restaurant on both reality TV shows The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules.

Yeah, you read that right. It has been reported by People magazine that Lisa has plans in the works for two Las Vegas restaurants, which she shared in March 2023. Then, the air was filled with rumors that the restaurant was shutting down in West Hollywood.
Then, Vanderpump told the media outlet, “We’ve been in the Pump location for 10 years, have a great relationship with the landlord” and mentioned that they were “discussing resigning our lease over the next few months, but haven’t made a decision and will be open tonight, and come by and have a Pumptini.”
Then, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum also spilled the beans on her plans for the Las Vegas restaurants and she said, “We’re also currently expanding our empire and will be opening two more restaurants with Caesars Palace.” She and her husband Ken Todd also operate the SUR in Los Angeles.
