Here’s all you need to know about Calvin Harris’ wife Vick Hope (including her early life, educational qualifications, and more)

Vick Hope is a TV and radio presenter by profession. When we talk about her childhood, she grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne. Back in the day, she attended Emmanuel College at the University of Cambridge and studied modern languages. She can speak 4 languages: English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

In an earlier interview, Hope disclosed that she took night classes including Spanish classes to get into Cambridge. She told A-List, “I was so determined. I’d read about Cambridge University and my teachers said it was a risk and told me to go to another uni but I’m very hard working and my school didn’t do the subjects I needed and wanted to do, so I taught myself Spanish at adult education classes to do my A-level exam and same with further maths, which I taught myself in a year.”

She went on to say, “I wanted to stand out from the other kids who had gone to Eton. I was strong willed and my parents instilled this notion of hard graft. That’s how you’ve got to get by — nothing is given to you.”

When did Vick Hope start her career as a TV presenter?

Vick stepped into the entertainment industry at the age of 19. As per her bio on Amnesty International, she was then hired to be The Argentina Independent’s youngest-ever journalist.

In the past, Hope has also hosted various shows including Crufts on Channel 4, Capital Breakfast show on Capital FM, Trending Live on 4Music, Carnage on Sky One, and FYI Daily on ITV2.

At the moment, the 33-year-old television presenter works for BBC Radio 1, where she serves as a host for a total of three shows a week and they are as follows: Going Home with Vick and Jordan, Official Chart: First Look and Life Hacks.

Vick Hope is also involved with philanthropy work

According to their official website, Vick is an ambassador for Amnesty International, a “global movement of more than 10 million people in over 150 countries and territories who campaign to end abuses of human rights.”
