Vick Hope is a TV and radio presenter by profession. When we talk about her childhood, she grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne. Back in the day, she attended Emmanuel College at the University of Cambridge and studied modern languages. She can speak 4 languages: English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
In an earlier interview, Hope disclosed that she took night classes including Spanish classes to get into Cambridge. She told A-List, “I was so determined. I’d read about Cambridge University and my teachers said it was a risk and told me to go to another uni but I’m very hard working and my school didn’t do the subjects I needed and wanted to do, so I taught myself Spanish at adult education classes to do my A-level exam and same with further maths, which I taught myself in a year.”
She went on to say, “I wanted to stand out from the other kids who had gone to Eton. I was strong willed and my parents instilled this notion of hard graft. That’s how you’ve got to get by — nothing is given to you.”
