Patty Jenkins and Lynda Carter, the directors of the Wonder Woman franchise. Spoke about the DC female superhero’s popularity today at DC FanDome. And the former revealed that the third installment is still in the process. Yes, can you image how exciting this news is?

‘We’re super excited about Wonder Woman 3. Gal (Gadot), who is so bummed about not being here, who’s the busiest person in the world, with now three little kids and shooting,’ according Jenkins.

‘We are all three very excited about some things coming up with Wonder Woman 3’, Jenkins revealed, keeping the next feature under wraps.

Wonder Woman 3 Upcoming Synopsis Discussion

Patty Jenkins, the director and co-writer of Wonder Woman 1984, revealed in January 2019 that the plot for a third Wonder Woman movie has been planned out after primary photography on the movie was concluded. According to the director, the following installment’s plot will take place in the present day.

Jenkins acknowledged in a December 2020 interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast that while she and Geoff Johns had already “beat out an entire story” for a third movie. She now has doubts about making it considering the current reality of the environment. Unsure if it will be her next movie and if her sentiments about it will alter.

Gal Gadot claimed in an interview with MTV News that she wants the third Wonder Woman movie to take place in the present. And that she has no enthusiasm in revisiting the history. Because she believes those time periods in Wonder Woman’s life have been handled wonderfully. So maybe, we will get to witness the recent technology in this upcoming movie.

All Because Of The Second Movie

The second movie was a huge hit and we all know that. Toby Emerrich, the chairman of Warner Bros., announced at the time that the production studio had fast-tracked the third movie, which is also intended to be the franchise’s final installment.

With nearly half of all HBO Max members watching it the same day it was released. He remarked, “As fans around the world continue to embrace Diana Prince, driving the strong opening weekend performance of Wonder Woman 1984, we are excited to be able to continue her story with our real-life Wonder Women, Gal and Patty, who will return to conclude the long-planned theatrical trilogy.”
