Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy created the American dystopian science fiction Neo-Western television series Westworld. Someone who looks like the supposedly dead Dolores is seen wandering down a street strewn with bodies in a set video from Westworld season 4. After a two-day hiatus due to a positive Covid test, HBO’s fourth season of Westworld is back in production.
Westworld Season 4 Storyline Hint
Wright teased us with a photo of his on-set seat with the name ‘Bernard’ on it on Instagram. “Good morning…old friend,” his caption stated. Referring to his friendship with Anthony Hopkins Dr. Robert Ford. Take a look at the following post.
Season 4 official plot line hasn’t been announced yet. But Aurora Perrineau (Prodigal Son) has been cast in a significant recurring role. And the Man in Black may return as the season’s Big Bad.
Set Video Of Westworld Season 4
William shoots Stubbs and escapes at the end of Season 3. Bernard and Stubbs take up residence in a hotel room. Dolores has implanted the key to the Sublime in Bernard’s psyche. Bernard appears to be idle as he approaches the Sublime to discover what’s there. William approaches a Delos facility in Dubai to kill hosts in a post-credits scenario. He comes across Charlotte. A host modeled after his Man in Black persona cuts his throat before he can assault her.
It’s unclear if he will live or die. Hundreds of host-creation machines start up behind him. A dust-covered Bernard wakes up in the motel room in another post-credit sequence. Season 3 of Westworld concluded on an ominous theme, with Evan Rachel Wood’s protagonist, Rehoboam, presumably erasing herself from existence after defeating the wicked quantum computer.
But there’s a hint that Dolores could be back in some way, as a set video shows someone who looks eerily similar to Wood’s character going down a path littered with bodies. Take a look at the video that was revealed on tiktok.
However, because it’s impossible to see the actor’s face properly, it can’t be guaranteed that this is Wood herself reprising her role as Dolores. But there’s definitely going to be a lot of things in the upcoming season.
Dolores Is Gone?
Variety spoke with Nolan about it, by confirming that: “Dolores is gone. We love Evan Rachel Wood and we haven’t started talking publicly about exactly what the show looks like going forward. But it looks very different.”
But that doesn’t rule out the possibility of seeing Wood again; unlike other series, Westworld’s characters have the ability to reappear in another host.
“I think it’s necessary to recognize the occasion with Dolores on a show where death might be temporary — they are robots, after all,” Nolan remarked, adding, “That version of that character is gone.”
As you can see, there is a great deal of uncertainty surrounding this, but let’s see what happens. Stay tuned for further information on the release date, official synopsis, and much more.
