Before starting, I’d say this article is only for the brave-hearted, just kidding. The American actress Vanessa Hudgens appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and revealed her strange gift. Don’t get spooked because what I am about to tell you might not connect. The High School Musical film series star claims that she can talk to ghosts.
Embracing the Supernatural
It was like any other fine day for Kelly Clarkson until Vanessa Hudgens, 33 appeared and revealed her “special gift”. The Identified artist told Clarkson that “I have accepted the fact that I see things and I hear things.”
Hudgens also revealed that she had a lot of paranormal experiences during her childhood. She could see one of her toys moving on its own when she was eight. Well, not that I don’t believe in an afterlife or some third world, but I think she was just high on some good grass.
Vanessa didn’t stop her, she narrated how she can see and hear ghosts. Vanessa said, “I kind of shut it down for a while because it’s scary, the unknown is scary. But I recently was like, no, this is a gift and something that I can do, so I’m going to lean into it.” Yea, Vanessa has accepted that it’s a gift rather than a curse. Believe it yet, eh?
Vanessa’s favourite Spirit Box
Clarkson asked her about a recent incident, and Vanessa was spontaneous with her response. She said, I recently conducted my first real paranormal investigation with equipment and everything. The 33-year-old star revealed that she has a spirit box that all spirits to speak through it. I must admit that Kelly should have a girls’ night out with her.
Jokes apart, regarding the spirit box, Vanessa stated that she also recounted “sitting at a tombstone in a graveyard”. She also narrated her encounter with a playful spirit named Sam who called her name.
Vanessa told Kelly to deal with them. A word of advice, you have to tell them to stay. Hudgens warned as you don’t want spirits to follow you. Kelly Clarkson replied, “If I were a ghost I would follow people everywhere.”
FYI, this spirit box is Vanessa’s favourite piece of supernatural technology as it scans radio frequencies. She revealed that the box creates electricity that allows spirits to speak through it.
The 2011 incident
If I may admit, I am not shocked to hear Vanessa. In 2011, the American singer claimed that she was visited by a ghost while filming in North Carolina. She said, “North Wilmington is one of the oldest, most haunted places in North America”. While staying in the house there, I heard footsteps one night but was unable to locate the source of the sound.
I was chasing around my ghost for like 10 minutes solid, and then it got way too freaky, and I just left, but before getting out of there, I did manage to get a sense of the spirit that was haunting the property.
I feel like she might have lost a husband at war and she’s waiting for her man to come back to her. It was a female spirit. I could tell.” Well, she has the ability to tell the gender of the supernatural too.
Hudgen’s achievements
It is not like Hudgens lost it all the way. She does have several awards and nominations for her acting career. Vanessa has been ranked No. 20 in the list of Forbes’ “High Earners Under 30”. Her reported earnings were around $3 million at that time. She was also named under People’s “100 Most Beautiful People” for two consecutive years.

Despite a practical and successful career, the Queen of Coachella seems to have a soft corner for the dead. Phew, if there was a “Best Paranormal Investigator Award”, it would go to her. I don’t know what she means when she says she can hear ghosts.
Nevertheless, I think even though I felt some unusual presence in the woods during my last summer break, it turned out to be a rabbit. Did you ever face something like this? Share your thoughts because Hollywood is not making those old horror classics anymore!
