The cross-over we all had been waiting for is arriving soon! The Simpsons Death Note parody, which will be a part of this year’s Simpsons Halloween special, the Treehouse of Horror XXXIII, has gotten fans excited across the globe.
The special episode will see the Simpsons in a complete anime makeover and will feature Lisa, Homer, Krusty and Marge, among other characters from the long-running animated series. But when is The Simpsons Death Note spoof releasing? Read on to find out.
The Simpsons Death Note Parody Release Date and Time
The special episode, titled Death Tome, will air on October 30, 2022, at 8 pm EST on all Fox stations. A day later, on October 31, the episode will be able to stream on Hulu. A few stills from the parody have now been released online, which feature a number of Springfield characters.
The first picture shows Lisa Simpson reading the Death Note book with Disco Stu and Ned Flanders in the background, the second one spotlights the anime versions of Homer and Marge, and the third one shows Lisa coming face to face with Ryuk, the Shinigami.

DR Movie, the studio that worked on the original Death Note anime, has also animated the Simpsons Death Note parody episode. The special will not only be a spoof, but also pay tribute to the highly-acclaimed psychological thriller anime.
The First Teaser of The Simpsons Death Note Episode is Out
The first footage from the special has been released and has taken the internet by storm. The teaser shows an anime version of Lisa Simpson walking through a road and being frustrated over the level of pollution and animal cruelty happening in the world.

“The human race is 20 cow farts away from total extinction, and we deserve it,” she is heard saying. A notebook then suddenly falls in front of her that says ‘Death Tome’.
“Any person whose name is written in this DEATH TOME will meet their death…and be DEAD,” reads the notebook, adding, “You must specify how the victim will die, and you may NOT kill the same way twice.”
Treehouse of Horror XXXIII will Feature Three Episodes
Treehouse of Horror is a Halloween Special episode of The Simpsons which releases every year around the festival. This year will be the 32nd edition of the holiday special and will feature two more episodes apart from Death Tome.
The first episode, titled The Pookadook, will pay homage to The Babadook, and the third episode will be a Westworld spoof titled Simpsonsworld. Meanwhile, the public reaction to the announcement of The Simpsons Death Note parody is extremely positive.
“The Simpsons doing a Death Note parody is something I never knew I needed,” tweeted a fan, while another wrote, “Let it be known that the crew behind The Simpsons actually went out of their way to commission an actual anime studio to animate their Death Note parody for the upcoming Treehouse of Horror. It’s even the same studio that animated Death Note!”

Where is it going to air so I can watch it, I have been googling it for 3 days since I seen the announcement, I know it will release on October 30. But who will it be released to, because the Simpsons air on many platforms.
