‘To be a woman is to be always alone and never alone.’
After binge-watching, the first season of ‘The Wheel of Time,’ excitement for Season 2 is definitely at its peak. Since its premiere, the show has performed admirably.
Moiraine, a member of the Aes Sedai, a powerful group of ladies who can channel the One Power, is the center of The Wheel of Time. She seeks out a team of five young villagers from the remote Two Rivers area, having faith that one of them is the reincarnation of the Dragon, an enormously potent channeller who broke the world.
She is accompanied by her warder, Lan. The Dragon Reborn is foretold to either save the world from the Dark One or break it once more. If you’ve been waiting for Season 2 to be renewed, we’ve already got some exciting news.
Season 2 Of The Wheel of Time Has Been Renewed Ahead Of Its Premiere
Yay! Amazon’s fantasy adventure has a lot more waiting for it. The excellent thing is that Amazon Studios has confirmed the second season of The Wheel of Time. The studio also revealed in the same month that the series has already accomplished half of its shooting as of late November 2021.
Production for the second season started on July 19, 2021, and is expected to wrap in February 2022. Amanda Kate Shuman wrote the teleplay for the opening episode of the second season, titled ‘A Taste of Solitude.’
Amazon Studios Already Watched Few Episodes Of Season 2
Vernon Sanders, an executive at Amazon Studios, has already seen a few episodes.
“Showrunner Rafe Judkins and his team just sent us their first cuts of the first episodes of season 2, and I cannot wait for the audience to see what we have in store,” he stated. “They’re just, they’re great.”
“We are going to be really thoughtful about how we release these shows,” Sanders added. “In our minds, they are very different shows, but we are cognizant of our genre fans.”
The Showrunner Of ‘The Wheel Of Time’ Sees The Show Running For Multiple Seasons
After knowing that the show has been renewed for another season feels great. But the question of ‘Are we going to get multiple seasons?’ will remain constant. So, let’s talk about that. The series’ showrunner, Rafe Judkins, told a source that he envisions the show lasting eight seasons.
“I always have to approach it as if we’re going to get to tell the whole story that’s in the books. If we don’t approach it that way, then we’d set ourselves up to not stick the landing, and these books have such a good ending,” he explained.
“I really need to set us up to get there if we’re able to. That’s not up to me ultimately. If people watch it and Amazon wants to keep doing more, I’d love to continue to expand this world further.”
If the show does well, we will quite certainly see more seasons. The good news is that we’ll be getting another season for the time being.
If you’re worried about the release date, don’t be; shooting has already started. And we will hear anything regarding the release soon, fingers crossed. But there is one thing you can do, stay tuned for further updates.
