ABC’s The Rookie: Feds has been enthralling the audience ever since its premiere in September this year. The series, which is a spin-off of the police procedural crime drama The Rookie, follows Special Agent Simone Clark as she is assigned to support the LA field office.

Fans would have to wait a little longer than usual, as the next episode of the show is not going to come out for the entire month of December. The Rookie: Feds has taken a short break from airing after the mid-season finale with the ninth episode last week.

Episode 10 will now release on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 9 pm ET on ABC. For those who wish to stream the show, new episodes are made available on Hulu a day after their television premiere. The streaming platform offers a 30-day free trial, after which you will be charged $7.99 a month for an ad-supported plan and $14.99 for an ads-free plan.

The Rookie: Feds Episode 10 will be a Crossover Event

The upcoming episode will be a crossover event that will merge the worlds of The Rookie and The Rookie: Feds, which means both Simone Clark and John Nolan will be appearing in the episode. ABC has also released a promo for the special episode.

The show stars Niecy Nash-Betts as Special Agent Simone Clark, Frankie Faison as Christopher Clark, James Lesure as Special Agent Carter Hope, Britt Robertson as Special Agent Laura Stensen, Felix Solis as Supervisory Special Agent Matthew Garza and Kevin Zegers as Special Agent Brendon Acres.

Other cast members include Michelle Nuñez as Special Agent Elena Flores, Devika Bhise as Antoinette Benneteau, Courtney Ford as Special Agent in Charge Tracy Chiles and Jessica Betts as DJ, Simone’s love interest.

How Many Episodes are There in The Rookie: Feds Season 1?

The first season of the show is said to feature 22 episodes. Initially, only 13 episodes were ordered by ABC; however, looking at the good ratings, the network decided to go with nine more episodes.

The move was announced three weeks after the show’s premiere. The series is said to have gained more than four million viewers across linear and digital platforms. The first season follows the story of Simone Clark as one of her students becomes a suspect in a terror attack.
