The Rings Of Power has already premiered its episodes, and the spectator will undoubtedly require an easy schedule of upcoming episodes. The series is based on author J. R. R. Tolkien’s heritage of Middle-earth and is set thousands of years before the happenings of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
It starts in relative calm and follows all of the significant events of Middle-Second earth’s Age, including the melding of the Rings of Power, the emergence of the Dark Lord Sauron, the crash down of the island kingdom of Nmenor, and the final alliance among both Elves and Men.
In Tolkien’s original novels, these events are happening over thousands of years, but they are shortened for the plotline.

McKay stated that the season was inspired by a conversation from Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings chapter 2, “The Shadow of the Past,” which he interpreted as “After a defeat and a respite, a shadow grows again in a new form.”
Bayona mentioned that the season would glimpse at Sauron’s appearance and that the main plot will revolve around “the repercussions of war and the shadow of the past.”
McKay also stated, “A 50-hour story from the beginning. If we’re going to tell 50 hours of story, we really want to make it worth it. Just as fans and viewers and lovers of Middle-Earth and Tolkien, we didn’t want to do a side thing. A spinoff or the origin story of something else. We wanted to find a huge Tolkienian mega epic, and Amazon was wonderfully crazy enough to say ‘Yes, let’s do that.’”
Since its opening, the show has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, with a specific appreciation for its storyline, cinematography, visual effects, and soundtrack.
