Niki Caro directs the movie, which is based on a narrative by Misha Green, Andrea Berloff, and Peter Craig.

‘The Mother’ Teaser Trailer Released
A new teaser trailer and an amazing look at the upcoming movie were released at Netflix’s virtual fan event Tudum. And now it has expanded the audience’s wait.
According to Netflix, “A deadly female assassin comes out of hiding to protect the daughter that she gave up years before, while on the run from dangerous men.”
The teaser is phenomenal, especially the performance of the ensemble. It starts with a shot of the main character in a snowy setting. “She needs protection right now,” it’s clear they’re referring to the daughter from this phrase.
A young girl is being kidnapped. There’s a lot of sniping going on. “If there’s trouble, come find me,” the teaser concludes. Check out the official teaser below.

Little About The Filming
On October 4, 2021, principal photography began. Due to the COVID variant outbreak, filming was halted on January 11, 2022.
A portion of the filming took place on the Spanish island of Gran Canaria, with the old town of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria serving as the city of Cuba. The nearby Gabinete Literario was turned into a casino. A party in a villa was also filmed in the south of the island.
