The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2 Release Date and Time

The second episode of The Mandalorian season 3 will be arriving on Disney+ on Wednesday, March 8 at 12 am PT / 3 am ET / 8 am GMT. Disney has revealed the runtime of the episode as 42 minutes, 24 seconds. In comparison, the debut episode clocked in only 35 minutes, becoming the shortest premiere in the live-action Star Wars universe.

What to Expect from the Upcoming Episode?

The premiere episode saw Din Djarin starting his journey toward redemption, accompanied by Grogu. In the upcoming episode, the Mandalorian will try to repair IG-11 by retrieving the missing part. On the other hand, Gorian Shard might be seen chasing down Djarin through the galaxy.

Cara Dune is revealed to be in the special forces now, and she would not be returning since actress Gina Carano was fired by Disney. Meanwhile, Mando might join Bo-Katan’s sect and also become their leader with the Darksaber.

How Many Episodes are there in The Mandalorian Season 3?

Keeping up with the previous installments, the third season of the show is also going to feature eight episodes, which are released weekly on Wednesdays. The finale is scheduled to air on April 19.

Showrunner Jon Favreau recently talked about how they have managed to tell a significant chunk of the story in the eight episodes of season 3. He said, “What started off as just new characters going to new planets, and we were introducing the audience to a smaller story – we’ve gotten to know a lot of different Mandalorians along the way.”

“We found out that not all of them are seeing eye-to-eye. There’s a lot of questions that have to be answered and hopefully all of it comes together in this season as they return to Mandalore and we figure out how this Mandalorian culture evolves past this critical point in their history,” he added.

Apart from Pascal, the show stars Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Emily Swallow as The Armorer, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, Omid Abtahi as Dr. Pershing, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Wesley Kimmel as Ragnar, Marti Matulis as Vane and Tait Fletcher as Paz Vizsla.
