What will The Mandalorian Season 3 be About?

The upcoming season will pick up from the events of another Disney+ show, The Book of Boba Fett (2021). Djarin and Grogu will be seen traveling back to Mandalore, where the former will try to redeem himself for his transgressions of removing his helmet.

To understand the story better, we suggest you watch the final three episodes of The Book of Boba Fett if you haven’t already. “The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu,” reads the synopsis of season 3.

If further states, “Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”

Who will Star in The Mandalorian Season 3?

The show will continue to star Pedro Pascal in the titular role. The actor is coming fresh out of the super-success of his HBO show, The Last of Us. The rest of the cast includes Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, and Emily Swallow as The Armorer.

The Mandalorian season 3 will also feature Omid Abtahi as Dr. Pershing, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, and Christopher Lloyd and Tim Meadows in yet-to-be-disclosed roles. The show has been created by Jon Favreau and produced by Lucasfilm, Fairview Entertainment, and Golem Creations.

Meanwhile, Favreau recently revealed that a fourth season of the series is already  in the works. “Season 4, yeah, I’ve written it already. We have to know where we’re going to tell a fully-formed story, so we had mapped it, out Dave and I, and then slowly, you just write each episode,” he said.
