Colton Underwood is officially a married man now! The former Bachelor star tied the knot with his fiancé Jordan C. Brown on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Their wedding was a three-day affair.

Colton Underwood and Jordan C. Brown are married

The Coming Out Colton star got married to his fiancé Jordan C. Brown on Saturday. The duo exchanged their vows in front of a total of 200 guests in a romantic ceremony at the Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa Valley.

Their wedding festivities started on Friday with a family dinner and welcome party for the guests. Colton and Brown walked down the aisle on Saturday morning. For the special occasion, both of them wore custom Tom Ford suits.

Underwood donned a deep green suit. On the other hand, when we talk about his political strategist husband Jordan, he opted for a blue suit as a nod to the theme of their wedding.

The wedding consisted of a choir and orchestra that greeted the guests with a warm welcome as they made their way to the seats. It has been stated by the publication that they were presented with a beautiful photo display designed by the couple.

Prior to his wedding to Colton, Jordan told People magazine, “We wanted trees around and sunshine. It was really important for us to get married outside.”

Underwood went on to say, “One thing that’s really important to both of us is that we’ve created this, we’re calling it ‘our loving walk.’ It’s inspired from a coffee table book that I was gifted after I came out called Loving and it’s images of men in love throughout history.”

The Bachelor in Paradise alum further added, “We blew them up and put them on canvases and set them around the resort. Next to them will be love letters from queer people in the 18th and 19th century that were forbidden or they had to send in secret.”

Brown continued, “It’s really cool. It helps us to pay tribute to the people who paved the way for all same-sex couples who now can get married.” Colton mentioned that they wanted to make their nuptials special as many people attending had never been to a queer wedding before.

Stanford University’s artistic swimming team performed in the swimming pool as guests exited the ceremony. Jordan said, “We wanted to keep the energy going. I like to host and bring people together. It’s our wedding, but it’s also a three-day party that we are throwing for our nearest and dearest.”

At Colton and Jordan’s wedding reception, the guests dined family-style on plates of salads, vegetables, steak, fish, and pasta. For dessert, they served chocolate chip cookies and mini lemon meringue pies.

As for their first dance as a married couple, Underwood and Jordan danced to “The Good Ones” by Gabby Barrett. They told the media outlet, “It’s just one of those songs that both remind us of each other and special to us.”

Colton who was the “Bachelor” in 2019 during Season 23 teased his wedding via an Instagram post shared on January 16. At that time, Colton posted a series of pictures of himself and his beau Brown at a friend’s wedding.“i have good news. the next wedding we attend will be our own,” he wrote in the caption of the post.

The Bachelorette star Colton and Jordan crossed paths for the first time in the year 2021. According to various reports, the two of them met at a party in Los Angeles in April of that year.

They were first linked to each other in September 2021 when they were seen packing on the PDA At the Four Seasons resort in Maui, Hawaii. They made their romance Instagram official in December of the same year.

Colton and Jordan announced their engagement last year in February. The pair got engaged after less than a year of dating. They decided on forever during a trip to the Central Coast of California.

While making an appearance on the talk show Good Morning America in April 2021, Colton revealed that he had struggled with his sexuality so much that at one point he even thought of committing suicide. He came out as gay just a couple of months before he started seeing Brown.

Then, Underwood confessed, “There was a moment in LA that I woke up, and I didn’t think I was going to wake up. I didn’t have the intentions of waking up. I think that for me was my wake-up call.”

Later on, Colton disclosed that the pair would say “I do” in a nontraditional ceremony. On Amazon Live, he said, “That aspect of our relationship and our engagement and even, you know, our wedding, when it comes time to plan that, we’re going to be doing it, hopefully, in a nontraditional, fun, weird way.”

Underwood further added, “It’s going to be authentic to us instead of trying to fit into some mold.”
