Teresa Giudice Deletes Pictures Wearing Balenciaga After Backlash

Fans are upset with Teresa Giudice for wearing Balenciaga amid the controversy that the brand is facing due to some of their campaign pictures. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has since deleted the pictures.

The reality star posted a bunch of pictures with her husband from their Paris trip. In all the pictures, she was seen wearing a white Balenciaga jacket that she posed in.

Why Are Fans Upset With Giudice?

Fans were not happy with her choice as the brand Balenciaga has been under fire for posting pictures of children with BDSM teddy bears.

One user commented, “We love you but burn that Balenciaga!!!!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮.” Another user commented “Balenciaga…GREAT, another person to unfollow! You do realize there are normalizing child bondage, right? Are you ok with that? Shameful! UN FOLLOW! [sic].”

Many others shared the sentiments where they showed their disapproval for the brand.

Although the couple took down the pictures from their Instagram, they have not made any comments on it nor have they released a statement.

Other Celebrities

Giudice is not the only famous person who has not commented on the situation. Kim Kardashian has been a vocal supporter of the brand for years. She has not made any comments about the incident although fans are flooding her comment section to come out and make a statement about it.

Bella Hadid has also been associated with the brand. She seemed to have deleted previous pictures where she promoted Balenciaga and Adidas collaboration.

An angry user commented “Can’t believe these celebrities have no care for the children at all! You work with a label that have sexually exploited children in their ad campaigns! But because the people spoke up, they’ve apologized [sic] … they wouldn’t have otherwise and you puppets are ok with it all?!”.

Balenciaga Issued An Apology

As the backlash against the campaign started, the brand quickly pulled all the pictures off of its social media handles. But the damage had already been done and people were very upset with the brand.

Balenciaga had to release a statement to address the issue and apologize. They said, “We apologize for displaying unsettling documents in our campaign.”

The company also reassured people that this was not the end of it. They said, “We take this matter very seriously and are taking legal action against the parties responsible for creating the set and including unapproved items for our Spring 23 campaign photoshoot. We strongly condemn abuse of children in any form. We stand for children’s safety and well-being.”

Fans are not satisfied with the brand’s standing and are calling for a social boycott. While it might not be plausible to completely cancel and possibly end the brand for good, it is still a good way to show that brands need to be more careful with what they portray.

Brands can no longer get away with stuff. They need to have a moral and social compass. What worries people is how the whole campaign got approved at many levels without anyone taking notice or trying to stop the campaign.
