Taylor Swift is relying on her friends after her break-up with Joe Alwyn! The pop star was seen on an outing with her girl pals in New York City on Thursday. The 33-year-old was accompanied by Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, and Alana, Danielle, and Este Haim.
The girls seemed to have a great time together as they strolled around the city and went to the private club Zero Bond. Swift has been seen on a number of outings with her friends in NYC in the last few days, especially after her split with Alwyn, her boyfriend of six years.
Taylor Swift Enjoys Girls’ Day Out with Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, and Haim Sisters
The girl group was seen hanging out and having fun in NYC on April 20th as they were photographed heading to Zero Bond. Swift rocked a little black dress for her day out with black shoes and accessorized herself with sunglasses and a plum-colored purse. Meanwhile, Gigi kept it casual in a blue outfit, and Blake chose a gray jacket with blue jeans.
The Haim sisters also all kept it black for the occasion. The outing comes in the middle of Swift’s Eras Tour, which has its next concert on Friday in Houston, Texas. The singer has been spotted hanging out with her friends several times in the last few weeks.
On Wednesday, April 19th, Swift was seen grabbing dinner with Blake and her husband Ryan Reynolds. Earlier on April 11th, she was spotted on a dinner outing with longtime friend and musician Jack Antonoff, who also worked on her latest album, Midnights.
Swift Broke Up with Joe Alwyn Recently
The news of the couple’s split came out on April 8th, when a source revealed that the two had parted ways as their ‘relationship had run its course.’ Swift began dating British actor Joe Alwyn in 2016. The two mostly kept their romance private but were spotted together at multiple events in the last few years.
Alwyn also turned a songwriter while quarantining with Swift during the Covid pandemic. He has penned 10 of the pop star’s songs, inducing Sweet Nothing on Midnights. Despite the spit, the two are said to have mutual respect for each other.
“They’ve had rough patches before and always worked things out, so friends thought they would take some time apart but eventually come back together. Ultimately they released that they weren’t the right fit for one another,” revealed an insider. Post the breakup, Swift’s brother Austin and her friends Ryan Reynolds and the Haim sisters have unfollowed Alwyn on Instagram.
The Singer is Currently Amid her Sold-Out Eras Tour
Swift is not only making news for her personal life but her professional life as well. The singer is currently on her sixth headlining concert tour, The Eras Tour. The 52-date gig began in Arizona on March 17th and will conclude in Los Angeles on August 9th.
All the concerts on the tour have already been sold-out. Swift described the event as ‘a journey through all of my musical eras.’ The tour has also received critical acclaim for its concept and production and for Swift’s vocals and versatility.
