Yeah, you read that right. Mike Gabler has won season 43 of the show Survivor. Jeff Probst, the host of the game show announced the name of the winner in the jungles of Fiji, rather than in a Los Angeles soundstage in front of a studio audience.
The aftershow saw the light of day minutes after Mike Gabler was named the winner of the show Survivor. Cassidy Clark, a designer who hails from Plano, Texas was the runner-up meanwhile, Owen Knight, a college admissions director from Bethesda, Maryland, came in third.

Mike Gabler is originally from Houston, Texas. Currently, he lives in Meridian, Idaho. At the moment, he is 52 years old. He spends most of his time outdoors and he documents all his trips on Instagram.
Gabler works as an aneurysm and trans-catheter heart valve specialist at Edwards Lifesciences, which is a medical technology company. In an interview with Parade, he said,  “I play a role on a heart team, working with top surgeons and top cardiologists.”
