Succession Won The Best TV Drama Ensemble At 2022 SAG Awards
The show is increasing in popularity by the day. And it draws a large number of people every season. The previous season (season three) was also one of the most successful, and season four is certain to contribute to that success.
Along with being the most popular series, the show has earned a SAG award. Succession has won the award for outstanding ensemble performance in a drama series.
On Sunday, the HBO series won the top honor at the 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, defeating fellow nominees The Handmaid’s Tale, The Morning Show, Squid Game, and Yellowstone.
The cast’s outstanding victory was both exciting and predictable. Though the members of the show have won other multiple awards, this was their first SAG win.
Before the show won Outstanding Ensemble Performance in a Drama Series, he said, “It’s a great show to work on, it’s a great bunch of people… It’s just a great cast, a great team, the DP, the whole thing… It’s just one of those shows — and the writers.”
Also, Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, and Jeremy Strong were nominated for his role on the show succession but they didn’t win the Award.
The award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series went to Lee Jung-Jae from ‘Squid Game.’
Sarah Snook was nominated for Outstanding Performance by Female Actor in a female actor in a drama series. But the award went to HoYeon Jung from the famous show Squid Game.
