Succession, one of the most successful shows on HBO is soon headed to its conclusion. The satirical black comedy series is currently in its fourth and final season and things are getting more and more interesting for the Roy family and their associates and rivals.
The final season is now halfway through as six episodes have already been aired. Audiences are now waiting for the premiere of the next episode with bated breath. So when will Succession season 4, episode 7 come out? Read on to find out.
Succession Season 4 Episode 7: Release Date and Time
The seventh episode of Succession season 4 will premiere on HBO and HBO Max on Sunday, May 7th at 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT. The episode, titled Tailgate Party, will be around 65 minutes long. It has been written by Will Tracy and directed by Shari Springer Berman & Robert Pulcini.
You need a cable subscription to HBO or a streaming subscription to HBO Max to watch the show. To stream the episodes, you can pay $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year for a ‘with ads’ plan and $15.99 a month or $149.99 a year for a ‘without-ads’ plan.
Succession Season 4 Episode 7: Preview
A trailer for the upcoming episode has been unveiled by HBO. It shows a tailgate party that would be organized to celebrate Kendall’s product launch. Meanwhile, Matsson is seen making a surprise entry. Looks like he might have been invited by Logan. Watch the promo below.
Going by the trailer, tensions will definitely rise up in the upcoming episode as Kendall pissed seeing Matsson. She will now have to scheme a plan to get rid of him as she is seen telling Shiv to ‘stay close’ and to ‘run it reverse Viking.’ Succession season 4 follows ‘the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson.’
The description for the season reads, “The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.”
Succession Season 4 Episode 7: Series Finale Date
Much like the previous installments, the final season of the show is also set to have 10 episodes. The season finale, which will also serve as the series finale, is scheduled to air on May 28th. So we still have three more weeks of Succession left after the upcoming episode.
The show stars Hiam Abbass as Marcia Roy, Nicholas Braun as Gregory ‘Greg’ Hirsch, Kieran Culkin as Roman Roy, Peter Friedman as Frank Vernon, Matthew Macfadyen as Thomas ‘Tom’ Wambsgans, Alan Ruck as Connor Roy, Sarah Snook as Siobhan ‘Shiv’ Roy, Jeremy Strong as Kendall Roy and Dagmara Domińczyk as Karolina Novotney.
The cast also includes Arian Moayed as Stewy Hosseini, J Smith-Cameron as Gerri Kellman, Justine Lupe as Willa Ferreyra, David Rasche as Karl Muller, Fisher Stevens as Hugo Baker and Alexander Skarsgård as Lukas Matsson.
