Star Trek: Picard has proven to be a massive success for Paramount+ as the show has consistently garnered huge viewership numbers. The show is currently in its third and final season, which marks Picard’s reunion with the USS Enterprise’s Next Generation members.

Star Trek: Picard Season 3 Episode 5: Release Date and Time
The fifth episode of Star Trek: Picard season 3 will be released on Thursday, March 16, at 12 am PT / 3 am ET. The episode, titled Imposter, will premiere exclusively on Paramount+. It has been written by Cindy Appel and directed by Dan Liu.
The final season of Picard is all set to feature 10 episodes, keeping up with the previous installments. New episodes come out weekly on Thursdays. The finale is scheduled to be released on April 20, 2023.
To watch the series, you need an active subscription to Paramount+. The plans for the streaming platform start for as low as $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year. For viewers who do not want to be interrupted by advertisements while streaming an episode, there is a Premium plan available at $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year.
Star Trek: Picard Season 3 Episode 5 Preview
Paramount+ has unveiled a sneak peek into the upcoming episode. The visual shows Raffi and Worf having a training session with each other, which is soon interrupted by a message from Starfleet Intelligence sent by Worf’s handler. Watch the preview below.
The official synopsis for the fifth episode has also been unveiled. It reads, “Caught by Starfleet and facing court martial, paranoia grows as Picard struggles to uncover whether a prodigal crewman from his past has returned as an ally or an enemy hellbent on destroying them all.”
Star Trek: Picard Season 3 Storyline
The final season follows Jean-Luc Picard as he reunites with the Next Generation members, the former command crew of the USS Enterprise, during the 25th century. Meanwhile, he faces a mysterious new enemy who is on a mission to hunt down his son.
Star Trek: Picard, created by Akiva Goldsman, Michael Chabon, Kirsten Beyer, and Alex Kurtzman, is the eighth television series in the Star Trek franchise. The show premiered in 2020 and has since then achieved a cult audience.
The official synopsis for the series reads, “Set at the end of the 24th century, 18 years after the events of `Star Trek: Nemesis’, with Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role, Star Trek: Picard revolves around retired admiral Jean-Luc Picard.”
“He is still deeply affected by the loss of Lieutenant Commander Data, portrayed by Brent Spiner, and the destruction of Romulus, and steps into the next chapter of his life.” The show stars Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard, Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine, Michelle Hurd as Raffi Musiker, and Ed Speleers as Jack Crusher.
