As if we didn’t know that!
I solemnly swear to not throw any spoilers while I pen this down.
Always, since the day we ever spoke about Spider-Man: No Way Home, we knew that the movie was ready to smash high-aimed numbers in Box office.
Now that Spider-Man: No Way Home is out in theatres, the feedback has left us stunned.
The third movie of the franchise is from Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios is a smashing hit in the pandemic era.
December 16th, Thursday, soon after the release of the movie, reports said that the movie collected $50 Million in the domestic box office. The number goes straight up to $93.6 million internationally.
Okay, ever since the Pandemic began, these numbers are the highest that anyone has seen. It has also defeated Shang-Chi in the pre-opening numbers. Over the weekends, Shang-Chi made $29 Million on Friday.
Going back to days before the Pandemic in 2019, Far From Home, garnered $39 Million on July 2nd.
Can’t say we expected anything less from this spectacular movie anyway.

Within three hours, PVR sold 50K tickets, thus, making history.
In the United States, the bookings of Spider-Man started in November itself. Going by the reports, once the tickets were up on sale, websites shut down due to heavy traffic.
Ever since the pandemic, this was the first time that people have been going so crazy. The crowd is going insane.
The last time we saw this was during Avengers: Endgame.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage also had a grand opening of $90 Million back in October. Well, I don’t know about anything else but it’s good news for theatres.
“It means everything to theaters right now,” Shawn Robbins, chief analyst at Boxoffice.com said during an interview.
“We’ve always emphasized how important every big movie has been to theaters and studios throughout the pandemic this year, but No Way Home is the most important from a box office perspective so far. here.”
There’s More!
It took $200 Million to make the movie and the movie was released in 4,300 theatres. After Avengers: Endgame, it is the first time for theatres to have a power-packed movie hall.
People are also excited about Spider-Man: No Way Home. Including the movie franchise clearing itself that they wouldn’t want any ”SPOILERS”
