Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Trailer Hints Trouble for Miles

The trailer features much of the footage from the previous film; however, it also introduces several new characters. Miles and Gwen are seen coming across much-awaited characters like Spider-Woman and Spider-Man from the PlayStation game.

The trailer also shows a fight sequence between Miles and Spider-Man 2099. Meanwhile, there is a continuing conversation between Miles and his mother, Rio, who tells him to take care of himself. There is also a brief cameo from the late Stan Lee. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse releases in cinemas on June 2, 2023. Watch the trailer below.

Fans have loved the trailer and are showering praises on the film with their comments. “It’s nice seeing how much Miles has grown. In the first movie, he needed his father’s guidance, and in the second, it seems he needs his mother’s. This movie is going to be so worth the wait,” wrote a fan.

Another commented, “Into The Spider-Verse is my favorite movie of all time, and I am so excited for Across The Spider-Verse. I love Spider-Man, I love the storytelling and visuals, and most importantly, I love how inspirational the movie is. It is a beautiful craft and message.”

Into The Spider-Verse Sequel has been Split into Two Films

The official synopsis of the film reads, “Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse.”

“There he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redifine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most,” the synopsis reads further.
