Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse just hit the theatres! The animated superhero film which revolves around Marvel Comics character Miles Morales / Spider-Man, was released in the United States on June 2, 2023.

What is the movie ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ all about?
For those of you who are unversed, let us share with you, that the film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse came out this week. The movie has received immense praise for its storyline, music, and animation style.
The sequel of the 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has many new stars as well. In the movie, you will get to see Shameik Moore reprise his voice role as Miles Morales.
The returning cast members are as follows: Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen Stacy), Brian Tyree Henry (Jefferson Davis), Oscar Isaac (Spider-Man 2099), Jake Johnson (Peter B. Parker), and Luna Lauren Velez (Rio Morales).
Along with them, some new faces will also be seen in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The newcomers who have joined the cast of the film include Issa Rae as the pregnant Spider-Woman, Jason Schwartzman as the Spot and Daniel Kaluuya as British punk rocker Spider-Punk amongst many others.
The synopsis of the film reads, “After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.”
The film has been directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson and the screenplay of the movie has been written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham.
