The Colombian actress and her husband Joe Manganiello have called it quits after 7 years of marriage. The couple recently issued a joint statement to confirm the news of their divorce.
The pair said, “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
A source told Page Six, “Sofía and Joe have been growing apart for a while now and are taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future.”
It has been reported by the media outlet that Sofia and Joe were last spotted out and out in public together last month in Hoboken, N.J., as she paid a visit to him on the set of his new project “Nonnas” with Vince Vaughn.

At the moment, the America’s Got Talent judge is celebrating her 51st birthday in Italy with her close group of friends. However, her partner Manganiello and her wedding ring are nowhere to be seen in the vacation pictures.
In the last couple of days, Vergara has shared her vacation snaps with her fans on social media. She just posted a photo on her Instagram page with a message that read, “When life gives u lemons u come to Italy to squeeze them.”
Soon after, the fans began asking Sofia about her husband Joe’s absence in the comments section of the Instagram post. One social media user wrote, “Is anyone else wondering where’s Joe?” Another added, “Wondering where her husband is, he hasn’t shown up in any of the photos of videos.”

Vergara and Joe were introduced to each other via her Modern Family co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in the year 2014. Although, at that time, she was engaged to Nick Loeb.
A couple of weeks after the event, Sofia and Nick pulled the plug on their romance. Soon after, Manganiello asked Jesse for Vergara’s mobile number. He flew down to New Orleans for the pair’s first date as she was filming Hot Pursuit and the rest is history.
