FX’s hit crime drama Snowfall is headed towards its conclusion, and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to give a proper farewell to the show by coming up with new and interesting twists and turns in every episode.

Snowfall Season 6 Episode 5: Release Date and Time
The fifth episode of Snowfall season 6 is set to air on FX on Wednesday, March 15, at 10 pm ET. The upcoming episode is titled Ebony and Ivory. It has been written by Davia Carter and directed by Jade Holmes Christian. The final season of the show is set to feature 10 episodes which come out weekly on Wednesdays.
The finale will be aired sometime in the summer. You can also stream the new episode on Hulu. The subscription streaming platform costs $7.99 a month for an ad-supported plan and $14.99 a month for an ads-free plan. The yearly plans start at $79.99. Hulu also offers a 30-day free trial period.
Snowfall Season 6 Episode 5 Promo
FX has released a promo for the upcoming episode, which shows Alton going all out against Teddy and his family. Meanwhile, Alton, Leon and Kane are seen joining forces. And then, there is another shootout. The official synopsis for the fifth episode has also been unveiled by FX. It reads, “Franklin confronts Teddy’s father; Leon solidifies control of the projects.”
In the previous episode, Leon was seen interacting with Deon, who made in charge after the former’s exit. While Leon wants things to still happen his way, Deon has a different way of functioning.
The difference of opinion soon leads to an argument after Deon mocks Leon, and the two end up in a huge fight. Meanwhile, Franklin is focused on finding out who stole his $73 million and why the product is being made at a slow rate. His war with Jerome and Wanda also goes on.
Snowfall Season 6 Storyline
The official description for the final season reads, “This was how crack began. Over the course of five seasons, FX’s Snowfall has chronicled how an off-the-books CIA operation contributed to the destruction rock cocaine levelled upon the vibrant community of South Central L.A.”
“It’s October 1986 in this sixth and final season, as civil war threatens to destroy the Saint family. Franklin is desperate, forced to rob his Aunt Louie and Uncle Jerome after being wiped out by former CIA officer Teddy McDonald. Meanwhile, Louie has taken over Franklin’s role as Teddy’s sole buyer, undercutting her nephew and creating a competing empire.”
“Franklin is now faced with losing everyone he loves and everything he’s built and coming through it all will mean out-manoeuvring the KGB, the DEA and the CIA, as well as avoiding the LAPD’s fully militarized, fully corrupt, C.R.A.S.H units. When everyone has their backs against the wall, who will they become in order to survive?”
