Slow Horses Season 2: Is It Renewed?
Well, fans took a relaxing breath when the streaming platform AppleTV+ announced the renewal of some of the most anticipated shows from 2022 including the freshly released sci-fi hit drama show Slow Horses.
With the series running its first season currently, the streaming network has flashed the green lights for another 6 episodes.
This is not all! The series director, James Hawes has also mentioned that the forthcoming episodes have already been filmed.
According to his interviews, James has expressed that AppleTV has already filmed the coming 6 episodes giving us hope that they will release this year sometime in the fall.
He also added that he is emphasizing giving us a couple of more seasons in the future. Following the open-ended storyline in the TV series, there may well be a chance for more than two seasons.
Hawes’ comment suggests that he’s up for doing it and judging by Herron’s body of work, it’s clear he could keep on going if they wanted him to.
Slow Horses: What’s the show about?
After messing up during training, British MI5 agent River Cartwright was sent to Slough House – administrative purgatory for guards in exile known as slow horses, Cartwright and his fellow employees work at a dull office with paper-pushing tasks and their boss, Jackson Lamb.
This gets tiring very quickly and is not suitable for people who want to grow in their careers. Life in Slough house is usually boring until a plan by slow horses brings danger to the Regent’s Park.
Slow Horses Season 2: Expected Plot
The disgruntled agents of MI5’s Slough House who were sent to wash up their failed careers are called up to protect a visiting Russian oligarch they hope to recruit.
These two agents are sent on a babysitting job, but then an old spy named Dickie Bow is found dead of a heart attack on a bus outside Oxford. The agents will uncover the dirty old business that landed them with a dead body from the Cold era.

The show is expected to return Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, Jack Lowden as River Cartwright, Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Taverner, Saskia Reeves as Catherine Standish, Jonathan Pryce as David Cartwright, Christopher Chung as Roddy Ho, Rosalind Eleazar as Louisa Guy, and Dustin Demri-Burns as Min Harper.
