Rapper Shy Glizzy was arrested this weekend after cops revealed that he allegedly pulled a gun on his on-and-off girlfriend, and threatened her with her life. The authority revealed that Glizzy got into a verbal altercation, which escalated to the point where Shy grabbed a firearm and made a threat.
Shy Glizzy Pulled A Gun On Girlfriend On A Public Street
Rapper Shy Glizzy allegedly threatened her on-and-off girlfriend with a gun but was arrested after a criminal report was made. It came out that the rapper pulled out the stunt on a public street around 9 AM Saturday, and was eventually tracked down by 6 PM.
Shy Glizzy Was Accused Of Sexual Misconduct
This isn’t the first time that Shy Glizzy abused a woman. Several months ago, model Sky Bri accused Shy Glizzy of sexual misconduct. She claimed he coerced her into taking a pill, pulled out his penis, and tried to get her to perform oral sex at his “White Girl” video shoot.
She said then, “I thankfully am in a position where I didn’t need that, I was able to say, ‘Yeah, I’m not gonna suck your dick. I’m fine with not getting paid.’ I walked away. But I think about other girls that star in music videos or have been in a similar position.” Glizzy denied all such allegations.
Glizzy, who is a Washington, D.C. native, gained popularity in the mid-2010s with mixtapes like La and Young Jefe. His first single, “Awwsome” was released in 2014. He has also collaborated with several rappers like Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, and A$AP Rocky.
His debut mixtape, “No Brainer”, was released in 2011, followed by “Streets Hottest Youngin” in 2012. His music gained an international audience in 2013 after he released his breakout mixtape, “Law 3: Now or Never”. It’s single, “Awwsome”, led him to sign a lucrative deal with 300 Entertainment.
