Amanza Smith has some happy news to share with her fans. The Selling Sunset star has revealed that she is cancer-free, after announcing on the latest season of the show that she needed to get a biopsy done.
The 46-year-old reality star has confirmed that the result of the biopsy came out to be benign and she is now completely fine. Smith talked about her health scare in the fourth episode of Selling Sunset season 6, which premiered last week.
Amanza Smith Confirms She Is Cancer-Free
Smith took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the news with her fans. She posted a series of photos of herself and wrote, “Thank you to everyone for your concerns and well wishes towards my health. I am happy to tell you that I am in fact, not only cancer free, but also possibly aging backwards and happier than I’ve been in forever! ♥️🙏🏽😂.”
Talking about the result of the biopsy, she wrote, “The results of my biopsy were benign! I will continue to be grateful for my health, and even more so now than ever! You realize that if it is in fact, in poor, standing, everything else falls secondary.” Many of Smith’s co-stars, including Chelsea Lazkani and Nicole Young, showed their love for her with their comments.
‘I have Lost Many Loved Ones to Cancer,’ Revealed Smith
The real estate agent further opened up about losing a number of her close ones to cancer. “I have lost many loved ones to cancer. The most recent one was my adoptive father and you all see that in season six. Maybe I didn’t say how he passed but that was how and it is a very sensitive subject.”
“Negativity causes disease everyone remember that …it’s something we don’t want to mess with … love, positivity, and happiness actually heal it. Big love to you all. Thank you for the support. We are so grateful to have the number one show in the US on Netflix,” she concluded writing.
The Reality Star Discussed her Health Scare on Selling Sunset Season 6
Smith first left everyone concerned when she talked about needing to get a biopsy during a confessional in Selling Sunset season 6, episode 4. “Recently, there [were] some things seen on a scan that were questionable. I need to get a biopsy. So yeah, that feels shitty,” she revealed on the show.
In later episodes, she was seen discussing the issue with her co-star Mary Bonnet. “When they did the ultrasound, my uterus on the screen looked… There’s a lot of stuff there and I don’t know what it is. It doesn’t look good. There’s a wide array of things that it could be, and then the one thing that we pray and hope that it’s not.”
Smith joined Selling Sunset as a main cast member in season 2 in 2022 and has been a series regular ever since. She is a mother of two children: daughter Noah and son Braker, whom she shares with her ex-husband, NFL star Ralph Brown, who is reported to be missing since 2019.
