Recently, Francia Raisa’s father Renán Almendárez Coello mentioned that his daughter talked to Selena about her drinking following the kidney transplant. Francia gave one of her kidneys to Gomez in 2017.
When Raísa was asked why Francia didn’t appear in Selena’s latest documentary titled My Mind & Me. He replied and confirmed the longstanding rumors that the two friends got into a disagreement.
While making an appearance on Primer Impacto last November, Francia’s father Renán Almendárez said, “Love, money, and fame changes the whole world, including Selena.”
Soon after the host of the show questioned him about the fallout between the two ladies and asked if Selena’s drinking provoked it. Then, Coello responded, “There’s a difference when Selena is drinking. Francia told Selena that she didn’t give her the kidney so she could go out and drink.”
At that point in time, Francia’s dad even issued a warning to the Lose You To Love Me crooner and said, “Be careful. Be really careful.” As of this moment, Selena has not made an official comment on the whole matter.

Selena started by writing, “I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of. So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health.”
The Wizards of Waverly Place alum further added, “I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you. Until then I want to publicly thank my family and incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery.”
At that time, Gomez went on to say, “And finally there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me.”
She concluded the statement, “I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis. Lupus continues to be very misunderstood but progress is being made.”

The feud rumors of Selena Gomez and Francia Raísa started in the year 2022 after the former called Taylor Swift her “only friend in the industry.” While having a chat with Rolling Stone, last November, Selena talked about her friends in the showbiz.
The Love You Like a Love Song singer told the media outlet, “I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong.”
Shortly afterward, Raísa replied to the interview of Selena by dropping the word, ‘interesting’ in the comments section of an Instagram post. Then, she deleted the comment.

On Saturday, the Hollywood actress stated that she has been getting pretty bad comments online. In addition to this, she also mentioned that she is being bullied by the fans of the singer.
Francia told TMZ, “I think the [comment] that probably hurt the most was, ‘I hope someone goes up your p–y and rips out your other kidney, you f–king whore.’ In no way shape or form does anyone condone bullying, especially Selena.”
The Life Size 2 star added, “She literally has a whole nonprofit dedicated to mental health [Rare Impact Fund], and I believe Rare Beauty even just had an event for mental health. So the fact that I’m now being bullied as I am, it’s messing with me mentally.”
Raísa continued, “To me, it’s not what anyone wants for someone. She’s literally out there saying, ‘Please stop,’ so I don’t understand why it’s not stopping — not just for me, but others that are also being antagonized online.”
