The science fiction drama ‘See’ is mostly coming to an end. It was announced in June 2022 that it would be the final season of the show, and it will premiere on August 26, 2022, with eight episodes.
Humankind has lost its sense of sight in the far long term; the father of twins born with the mythic potential to see must safeguard his tribe from a threatened queen.
“Alkenny” and “Kanzua” could be variations on Allegheny and Kinzua, two real-life places in western Pennsylvania. The third and final season will be bigger and better.
‘See’ Season 3 Trailer
The battle begins today. “I have spent my life trying to protect my family,” says the official trailer. And it gave us our first look at Jason Momoa. It then continues with the phrase, “Do you remember what it felt like to live in peace?”
In this new season, the world has changed. And there’s a new weapon that’s more powerful than the spectator can fathom. “It’ll kill thousands.” The phrase clearly indicated to viewers that there would be one final battle to fight, one that we would never forget.
The new trailer contains numerous explosions. There is fighting and bombings. Her sister has been hunting her for 17 years and will not stop now. The lead swore to protect his family from the raging flames of war.
The final chapter seems intense. The trailer ends with, “This moment, this is the moment for which you were born.” And then it ends with the final bowl.
See Season 3 Synopsis
The official synopsis reads, “The stakes have never been higher for Baba Voss [Jason Momoa] and his tribe, as a new form of warfare threatens to destroy the world as they know it.
See is set in a brutal and primitive future, hundreds of years after humankind has lost the ability to see. In season three, almost a year has passed since Baba Voss defeated his nemesis brother Edo and bid farewell to his family to live remotely in the forest.
But when a Trivantian scientist develops a new and devastating form of sighted weaponry that threatens the future of humanity, Baba returns to Paya in order to protect his tribe one more.”
The Final Chapter Is A Satisfying Conclusion To The Story
Showrunner and executive producer Jonathan Tropper stated, “We are thrilled to share this epic final chapter of ‘See,’ which delivers all the intense drama, riveting action, and heartfelt emotion fans have come to expect, as well as what we think is a deeply satisfying conclusion to our story.
Building a world without sight was a particularly unique and continuous challenge that was met through the passionate and thoughtful collaboration of a phenomenally talented and diverse team both in front of and behind the camera.
The show has been monumental labor of love for all involved, and we are eternally grateful for the way ‘See’ has been embraced by viewers around the world.”
