Sam Hunt is going to become a father again! The singer and his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, are expected their second child together. Hunt announced the happy news during his concert in Las Vegas on Friday night.
The 38-year-old singer and songwriter previously welcomed his daughter Lucy Louise in May last year. The news comes just a few weeks after Fowler called off her divorce from Hunt, for which she had filed in February 2022.

Hunt was performing at his concert at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas on April 21st when he announced the news to the audience. An eyewitness from the event has confirmed the development. The Body Like a Back Road singer also shared that his wife and daughter will be accompanying him in Las Vegas for the weekend.
Hunt’s reps have not yet commented on the news. Hunt and Fowler welcomed their first child, Lucy Louise, in May 2022. The singer talked about fatherhood in an interview in September last year and called it ‘a life-changing deal, a bucket-list deal.’
He said, “Just staring at her, watching her grow little by little because when I leave I realize how much she is growing. And I’m missing a little bit of it, but when I’m home I make sure not to miss any of it. So I’ve been really enjoying being around her and her mom, and just experiencing the whole miracle of being a new dad.”
“[Fatherhood] has given me such a sense of purpose — at home and out on the road. A new appreciation for life in general. I think I leveled up overnight, evolved 10 or 20 years overnight,” Hunt continued.
Fowler Filed for Divorce from Hunt but Called It Off Later
The couple started dating in 2008 but remained in an on-and-off relationship for many years. They finally got married in a secret wedding in 2017. However, in February 2022, Fowler filed for divorce, citing that her husband was found ‘guilty of inappropriate marital conduct and adultery.’
In her filing, she also stated that she believed ‘all hopes of reconciliation are exhausted.’ At the time, Flower demanded alimony, child support, and primary custody of the child. However, the two decided to give their marriage another chance and reconciled in May last year.
“Sam and Hannah are working on healing their relationship. They’re very excited to be welcoming their baby girl together and focused on that. Sam has been putting the work in and making sure that Hannah feels comfortable, safe, and trusts him,” revealed a source at the time.
“He is acting protective over their relationship. He has been careful to make sure that things aren’t being misconstrued or that he is putting their relationship in any sort of jeopardy. He’s aware of how sensitive the situation is and doesn’t want to hurt Hannah,” he added. A judge approved Folwe’s request to call off the divorce at the beginning of April this year.
