Roman Becomes Unified Champion, McMahon Makes Wrestling Return: Wrestlemania 38 Night 2 Results

And thus, Wrestlemania 38 Night 2 concludes the biggest weekend in professional wrestling, with a bang and an awesome show.

The Night 2 of Wrestlemania 38 started with Triple H coming to the show to start the show-off. After his retirement from wrestling, this is his first time coming back to WWE and it was a sight to be seen.

Randy Orton and Riddle Vs Street Profits Vs Alpha Academy

The match is a really fun time with a lot of amazing spots and perfect dives. Montez Ford shines bright as his frog splashes easily making this match a five star.

The end was also great with both Randy and Riddle catching Montez and Gable mid-air for a perfect RKO. RK-Bro easily wins this match and delivers a great performance.

Bobby Lashley Vs Omos

This match was complete filler but still a great showcase for Bobby Lashley who has been losing quite a lot of PPVs in the past few months.

WWE was trying to recreate the Wrestlemania 2 moment of Hulk Hogan defeating Andre the Giant with this match and they kind of hoped a lot.

Sammy Zayn vs Johnny Knoxville

This match was pure fun with a lot of gimmicks that worked in the best way possible. With the leg launching mechanism that low-blows Sami to the mouse trapped filled table which Sami went through as well.

Also with the cast of Jackass Forever, this match got all the laughs and gimmicks that Sami and Johnny prepared for the match.

Zelina Vega and Carmella Vs Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair Vs Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan Vs Natalya and Shayna Bazler

This match was utter chaos in the best way possible. WWE is great with multi-people matches and this match proves it. With everyone throwing everything that they have in the ring this was way too fun than it had any credit to being.

Sasha Banks and Naomi naturally came out on top with their new and improved tag team finisher which looked fine.

This result comes after the announcement of Carmella and Corey Graves’s marriage being arranged the next week and their new TV show airing next month.

Edge Vs AJ Styles

This match was an absolute wrestling clinic with AJ and Edge giving one of their best performances in the last few years. Both AJ and Edge looked marvellous and the Edge entrance sent shivers down my spine.

This reminded me too much of Edge’s match with Randy Orton at Backlash in 2020, which is still the best Edge match since his return, but this comes pretty comes close to that classic.

The end of the match is a little bit controversial as Damien Priest walks in which distracts the concentration of AJ who was on the ring apron readying for the Phenomenal Forearm and when he jumps Edge catches him with a vicious spear to end the match.

The New Day Vs Sheamus and Ridge Holland

This was the only match that suffered way too much with keeping up the momentum that the previous matches had been building up now. Though no one involved is to be blamed as this was supposed to be a 6-man tag match with Big E involved.

But as we all know that Big E suffered a neck injury just 4 weeks ago on Smackdown. Due to that, this was a mess in the worst way possible. The match ended when Butch interfered and Ridge Holland was able to hit Xavier Woods with his finisher.

Pat McAfee Vs Austin Theory

This was unexpectedly a very big match if the fan reactions were any indications. Every time Pat McAfee hit a move where it was a Hurricarana or a top rope Suplex, the crowd cheered the hell out of the stadium.

Even his entrance with the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders and the football that he kicked on the tramp coming down to the ring was amazing.

As the match was gaining momentum and Austin Theory was about to hit his A-town Down, Pat reversed it into a roll-up for a victory which saw the crowd roar like crazy.

After the match, we saw Austin going toward Vince and as they were leaving Pat challenged Vince to a match and surprisingly Vince started taking off his shirt. And lo and behold he was wearing his 90s tank top which he wore when he won the Royal Rumble and the WWE Championship.

Pat McAfee Vs Mr McMahon

The match was amazing for all the public there and they were going bonkers for this match but the match ended quick. Vince kicked a ball into his guts of Pat and pinned him to end the match.

As Vince and Austin were celebrating, then the music of Stone Cold Steve Austin hits. Steve Austin makes his way to the ring and gives the Stunner to Austin, Vince as well as Pat after having beers with all of them.

Roman Reigns Vs Brock Lesnar

The main event of the night delivers in the best way possible. The match doesn’t stay for too long and gives us only the big moves. But this way, the wrestling from this match is zero, all of it is filled with only keeping the audience entertained.

For this match, the entertainment way worked totally. Roman and Brock shared their signatures, Superman Punch and German Suplex more than 5 to 6 times. Then, Roman and Brock also share their finishers, Spear and F5.

The match ends when Roman knocks out the referee and then low blows Brock and then hits him with the WWE title and then spears him to win the match.

This year’s Wrestlemania was filled with a lot of stuff, some of the greatest matches like Cody and Seth, Edge and AJ or Bianca and Becky but also some of the worst filler matches in Wrestlemania history.

The next biggest thing after Wrestlemania 38 Night 2 is the Raw after Wrestlemania so be ready for a lot of changes and shocks this coming Monday.
