Ashley Darby and Luke Gulbranson have called it quits
Yeah, you read that right. The Real Housewives of Potomac alum Ashley Darby and the Summer House star Luke Gulbranson have parted ways. Ashley has stated that they split due to ongoing issues stemming from her and estranged husband Michael Darby’s divorce.
During Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Ashley said, “Luke and I are not romantically involved anymore.” She also went on to say that her life is “very complicated” at the moment and despite Gulbranson, being a “trooper” and going “through some things,” it wasn’t the right time.
The reality TV star went on to say, “It’s not really about Luke, but [Michael and I] just have a hard time period with co-parenting and with separating. It’s my situation with Michael that affected Luke and I, and like I said, he was a trooper but ultimately it’s just not there.”
Ashley Darby is still on good terms with Luke Gulbranson
Ashley clarified that she’s still “friendly” with the Summer House star Luke Gulbranson and overall enjoyed their three-month fling. She continued, “I met his whole family, they were amazing. I fell in love with them, it was so great, but you know, I am newly single.”
The Bravolebrity said, “This is my first relationship after, [and] you know, it’s just nice to be reminded that I am that girl, and I love to love, and I love to be loved, and give me all the love.”
The mom of two and the Winter House alum started flirting it up during BravoCon last October. Both of them continued to get to know each other more. Soon after, Ashley made their romance Instagram official.
At that time, Darby posted a selfie of the pair from their trip to Gulbranson’s native Minnesota before the holidays. Although, the eagle-eyed fans began to speculate they were over after Ashley deleted the beautiful picture of the pair and unfollowed him on the social media platform Instagram.
Ashley said, “I like to sort of put the period on things. iIt’s a period, so that’s why I did that.” At the moment, she is in the midst of divorcing Michael. She initially filed for divorce from Michael in April after 8 years of marriage. The former couple shares two sons: Dean, 3, and Dylan, almost 2.
