‘RHOA’ Star Drew Sidora Announces Death of her Father Robert Jordan

Drew Sidora has shared devastating personal news on social media. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member recently took to her Instagram page to announce the passing of her father, Dr. Robert Jordan.

In the emotional Instagram post, the Hollywood actress revealed that her dad had died after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Read on to learn more about Drew Sidora’s father Dr. Robert Jordan who passed away on August 11.

On Tuesday, the That’s So Raven star used her Instagram page to share the sad news of her dad’s demise with her fans worldwide. She uploaded a video that included some special moments of her with her dad.

Drew started by writing, “You’re never prepared for the inevitable, but here we are….It is with tears flowing, I announce that my father Dr. Robert A. Jordan has made his transition into Heaven. As my mom says, He fought a good fight and finished his race, with a smile on his face he picked up his crown at Heaven’s Gate!”

She further added, “Thank ya’ll for allowing me to share my journey with my dad battling Alzheimer’s Disease. Thank you to all of you constantly messaging and writing me, sharing your own personal experiences with a loved one battling Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia. We’re forever connected!!”

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer’s is a type of dementia that affects thinking, behavior, and memory. Let us share with you, it is a progressive disease and it worsens with time.

Sidora continued, “I was a Daddy’s Girl and I will cherish the precious memories that will forever live in my heart and his legacy lives forever!” She also mentioned that her dad “was the best pediatrician in all of Chicago” and “was passionate about helping people, saving lives and providing quality healthcare to those in the indigent community.”

The Game alum wrapped up the Instagram post by thanking everyone for their condolences and she asked them to keep her family in their prayers as they continue to grieve. She concluded, “I thank God, knowing we will see you Daddy again!”

As soon as the Step Up actress announced the news of her father’s demise on the social networking platform Instagram, her comments section was flooded with condolences by her fans as well as many Bravolebrities.

Drew’s co-star Kandi Burruss stopped by the comments and wrote, “I’m praying for strength for you and your family. 🙏🏾” Kenya Moore chimed in, “ my prayers to your family during this time. ”
