Actress and comedian Rati Gupta is ready to rock our screens later this year as part of Hulu’s futuristic comedy “Future Man.”

The show stars Josh Hutcherson as Josh Futturman, a lowly janitor whose life changes when he is recruited by his two favorite video game characters Wolf (Derek Wilson) and Tiger (Eliza Coupe) to travel through time and save the world.

Gupta will come on board as Rake, an integral member the character Wolf’s family. Not much is known about her character yet but Gupta promises the season will be “bonkers.”

As for Gupta herself, the Indian-American actress is an impressive multitasker. She’s a dancer, writer, storyteller, and comedian. Her debut one-woman show, “Not Another Teen Solo Show,” was nominated at the LA Film Festival. Her acting credits include the MTV film “Worst. Prom. Ever.” and FX comedy “Better Things.”

We’re excited to see Gupta get a bigger, well-deserved role in “Future Man.” Season 2 of the comedy will premiere later in 2018.
