Christmas is special for many reasons. Families get together, there are presents, and good food, etc. But there are also holiday parades like the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Parade, which makes Christmas so much more memorable.
Disney has announced the lineup for the performers for the special day. The show will air on ABC on December 25th at 10 am ET and at 7 am PT to lift up your spirits. It will also air on Hulu, where the platform’s subscribers can watch the parade.
Performers Line-up For Disney Parks’ Magical Christmas Parade

The iconic performers will perform classic numbers and holiday hits.

Sherry Cola and Marcus Scribner will be the hosts for ABC’s festive annual special. They will be assisting Julianne Hough and Derek Hough in hosting the show.
The specials for the parade are filmed at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and also at Disneyland Resort in California. It will feature performances of new hits along with holiday classics, so there is something for everyone in it. There will also be heartwarming family stories and sneak peeks around the Walt Disney Company.
Trevor Johnson from grown-ish will give a magical performance from the newest Disney Cruise Line Ship. Many segments of the show are pre-recorded in November. Previously, the show also included segments from other Walt Disney theme parks like Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, etc.
Where Does The Parade Take Place?
The parade takes place in the Main Street, USA. There are appearances by famous Disney characters like Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy Duck, Scrooge McDuck, and Chip ’n Dale.
There are also floating celebrities marching bands, and musical performances, that come from various corners and communities in the USA. Macy’s Parade is also an important highlight at the parade.
The show concludes with Santa Clause’s entry. One of the biggest highlights each year is watching Walt Disney’s “Babes in Toyland”, the 1961 movie.
Although the parade started in 2016, it is quickly becoming a part of Christmas traditions for many families. While children enjoy parts of the parade, there is something nostalgic in it for the adults as well.
All in all, it is a nice way to start Christmas morning with your family. Cuddling with hot chocolate after you unboxed all your presents can be a sweet memory for the whole family.
