Paris Hilton Opens About Middle School Abuse, Eighth-Grade Teacher Groomed & ‘Kissed’ Her

Sometimes, it takes decades to realise if you were a victim of abuse or not. Well, that’s true in Paris Hilton’s case, who is pulling curtains on her middle school abuse. In her recently published memoir, “In Paris: The Memoir”, the entrepreneur opened up about an eighth-grade teacher, nicknamed ‘Mr. Abercrombie’, who groomed, “kissed her”, and even had a crush on her.

Hilton’s Troubled Teen Times

In her recently published book, “In Paris: The Memoir”, Paris Hilton, 42 made shocking revelations from her middle school years. She revealed how an eighth-grade, nicknamed “Mr Abercrombie”, had a crush on her. Paris narrated how the “handsome young” instructor groomed and even kissed her — and it’s taken “decades” to view herself as a “victim”.

In her memoir, Paris narrated how in her early teens, the teacher gave her his phone number and keep their contact a secret. “Mr Abercrombie called me almost every night, and we talked for hours about how amazingly mature, beautiful and intelligent I was, how sensual, misunderstood and special.”

Not only this but Mr Abercrombie reminded her of the 13-year age gap between Princess Diana and Prince Charles, and the 14-year difference between Priscilla Presley and Elvis Presley, trying to butter up things.

He even paid a secret visit to Hilton when her parents, Kathy and Rick Hilton were away. “Teacher pulled me into his arms and kissed me,” Paris writes, adding that her mom and dad caught them in his car upon returning to the house.

Paris Took Decades To Mentally Confront The Abuse

Paris Hilton further narrated in her memoir that her parents sent her to France to live with her grandmother after the car incident. However, she took many years to mentally confront the inappropriate relationship. The “Paris in Love” star wrote, “It took decades for me to actually speak the word pedophile.”

When he was caught, he tried to put all the blame on Paris Hilton, who was just a child of 13-14 years. The teacher asked her in front of her parents, “Why did you make me do it?” She couldn’t even understand what he was trying to narrate. It is not clear if any action was ever taken against the teacher.

“Casting him in the role of child molester meant casting myself in the role of victim, and I just couldn’t go there,” she added. In the rest of her memoir, she candidly narrates instances of being drugged and raped at the age of 15 as well as being coerced into filming a sex tape with Rick Salomon four years later.

It came out in 2021 that Paris is finally writing a tell-all as the media controlled her story for over two decades. “The media has really controlled the story of me for over two decades, and it was just time now for me to tell the truth,” she revealed in an interview during the release of her memoir.

“I hope that people can understand me in ways they didn’t before and see that there’s so much more to me than they ever knew,” she added. For Paris, writing this book has been one of the most terrifying yet rewarding things. You can order your copy here.
