What Happened In Episode 1052: Recap
One Piece chapter showed Momonosuke and Yamato trying to dodge massive pieces of rock breaking off Onigashima. Yamato realizes that the falling stones mean that the island is collapsing. Meanwhile, Kaido’s flame cloud has weakened as he cannot support the broken rocks.
Yamato predicts that Kaido’s power is fading, and if Kaido and Luffy continue fighting, the island will collapse. At the same time, Momonosuke realizes that the floating island is very close to the flower capital, and if it reaches there and collapses, a lot of innocent people will die.
Furthermore, Momonosuke tries to break the island with his head, but nothing happens except for a few cracks. However, Yamato suggests they can handle the situation if Momonosuke creates intense Flame clouds. They will be able to push the island back.
Momonosuke is skeptical, but Yamato motivates him to try and save everyone. Moreover, the island is stocked with explosives and weapons, and if it falls, everyone will die, friends and foes alike.
