Yesterday was the British Theatre’s biggest night. The 2022 Laurence Olivier Awards 2022 took place a the Royal Albert Hall. Britain’s stage community gathered together to celebrate these awards that are named after the late actor-director Laurence Olivier.
The2022 Olivier Awards were special for the reason that the U.K. suffered a theatre shut down for months at stretch. This has happened for the first time since World War II. The grande ceremony was hosted by Jason Manford.
Cabaret and Life of Pi nabbed the top-most title at this event. The former dominated with seven awards, including Best Musical Revival, while the latter bagged five awards including Best New Play. Here is a complete list of 2022 Laurence Olivier Awards winners.
