Former Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo is on cloud 9 after NFL star Christian McCaffrey got on his knees for the special occasion. The 30-year-old model took to Instagram and shared glimpses of her engagement day, posting a series of romantic black-and-white photographs.

Olivia Culpo (30) is showing off her sparkling engagement ring on Instagram, and fans are going nuts over the celebrity’s romantic proposal pictures. The former Miss Universe is on cloud 9 after NFL star, Christian McCaffrey (26) went down on his knees to propose to Culpo as she looked joyous shocked with her hands up to her face.
The American model took to Instagram on Friday (April 7) and shared glimpses of her engagement day, sharing a series of black-and-white photos. The San Francisco 49ers star running back was on a Utah excursion vacation with her better half. The comment in the caption states that McCaffrey proposed to her on April 2 (“♾️4.2.23♾️”).
“We tried to keep this quiet for as long as possible, but word travels fast,” Culpo wrote in her recent Instagram stories post. “I’m marrying my best friend. I love you so much, fiance,” she added in her caption alongside the gorgeous photos of the couple.
Everyone was quick to come forward and show love to the beautiful couple. One of the first comments came from Christian’s mother, who wrote: “Finally, we have a daughter. I love you both so much. ❤️❤️”
Olivia’s sister, Sophia Culpo expressed her excitement by writing: “Wooohooo!!! Finally. I always wanted a brother my age😭 twins!!” Aurora Culpo wrote, “Yayyyy I can talk about it!!! Congrats, I can’t wait to have another brother and I can’t wait to snuggle the crap out of ur babies!!!!!” The two have been together since 2019.

Olivia Culpo, who took a vow to never date athletes ever again, broke her “no athletes ever again” dating rule for Christian McCaffrey. Well, it was all worth it. The 26-year-old athlete and the model were first linked in 2019 after the athlete liked a photo Culpo posted on Instagram. After a few months, the two created headlines for taking a vacation to Mexico together.
When Culpo became a fixture at Carolina Panthers football games, and in November 2019, the two started opening up about their love for each other. As the two finally got engaged, Nicole Wengmen, founder of Ring Concierge, opened up about the hard work McCaffrey underwent to find the perfect ring for his lover.
Nicole revealed that Christian worked with the upscale wedding company to “design the ring – a cut oval flanked with an epaulette side stone in a handcrafted gold and platinum setting.” Well, Olivia to has been vocal about her respect for Christian. In a previous interview, she said:
“He’s just the best, I feel like he is really everything that I could ever ask for. So I never have to worry about anything. I think that was the reason why I didn’t want to date an athlete, no offence because there is a reputation there.”
