During her interview with the media outlet Page Six, DeLaria called her girlfriend Dalia ‘her wife,’ and soon after, the reporter asked her, “Wait, ‘wife’? When did you get married?” Then, the Jazz musician said, “Aaaaaah” for six seconds, before finally blurting out, “No Comment.”
Soon after, the journalist told Lea, “Sorry, you can’t just drop ‘wife’ and say, ‘No comment,’” to which DeLaria playfully responded, “Yeah, we can if we want to!”

In the year 2017, Lea almost got hitched to her then fiancée Chelsea Fairless but the pair decided to go their separate ways just a few days before they were supposed to get married. At that point, the exes took to Instagram and shared a photoshopped picture of them standing with Michael Jackson and Elizabeth Taylor.
The former flames wrote, “Please exclude us from the tragic and basic celebrity breakup narrative. We were happy together for four years and will remain in each other’s lives. In fact, we look forward to finding new ways to torture each other. We would like to thank our incredible friends and families for their love and support.”
When Page Six tried to get more details about the secret wedding of Lea DeLaria and Dalia Gladstone, Lea told the publication, “Poor Page Six. You’ll get over it. It’s not a big deal. Do not make this interview about this!”
The artist went on to say, “I’m just an old-school queer. I don’t think everyone has to know my business.” We first got to see Dalia on Lea’s Instagram feed in July 2021. At that point in time, the two of them vacationed in Key West, Florida. Since then, they have been clicked by the paps on various occasions like red carpet events and more.
