NSAI Names Taylor Swift Songwriter-Artist Of The Decade

Her speech was given at the Nashville Songwriters Association NSAI 2022 Nashville Songwriter Awards, held at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. At the event, the 32-year-old singer was selected as one of two Decade Honorees to receive recognition. The “Decade” awards are determined by chart success and other metrics, rather than by votes, and focus solely on the achievement of songwriters between the years 2010 and 2019.

It has been reported that Billboard’s awards are determined by a points system calculated based on the percentage of songwriting credits associated with an artist or songwriter, based on the artist’s performance on the charts.
