Congratulations are in order for Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott, as the two have welcomed their second baby together. Scott gave birth to a daughter on Wednesday, December 14, and announced the happy news on Instagram recently, revealing her name.
The couple previously lost their five month old son, Zen, to brain cancer last year. The newborn is the twelfth child of Cannon, who welcomed another child with Abby De La Roza just last month. Read on to know more about the birth of the baby.
Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott Welcome Second Child Together
Scott announced the arrival of the baby with an emotional video on Instagram. She remembered her deceased son Zen in the post and wrote, “December 14 2022. Our lives are forever changed ❤️Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us, he shows me signs everyday.”
“I will hold onto this memory forever. I will remember the sound of Nicks voice saying “it’s a girl” and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine,” she added.
The 29 year old model further revealed the name of the baby as ‘Halo Marie Cannon’. She wrote, “My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon! 🤍”. The post met with congratulatory comments from her friends and followers.
Scott Announced Pregnancy in October this Year
Alyssa Scott announced her third pregnancy in October 2022. She showed off her baby bump while carrying daughter Zeela, whom she has from a previous relationship, in a photo on Instagram and wrote, “With you by my side… 🤍”. Since then, she has shared several pictures on social media flaunting her baby bump.
In November, Scott and Cannon had a maternity photoshoot, where the model featured nude with her boyfriend in a bathtub. She held her breasts with her hands, and the television host was seen kissing her bare baby bump.
“The next time I post, he or she will be here! Thank you to everyone who is following along with love and compassion for my journey. Im a private person on a very public platform. I know with time I will be ready to let the people who truly care into my world a little more than I have. love ❤️,” wrote Scott, sharing a photo from another of her photoshoots.
Nick Cannon’s Eleventh Child was Born in November
Cannon announced the birth of his eleventh child, daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, in November 2022. “11/11/2022 A BEAUTIFUL DAY for “BEAUTIFUL ZEPPELIN CANNON” to arrive! Mommy @hiabbydelarosa I love you!” he wrote.
The 42 year old actor added, “You make it ALL look so easy and effortless but I am forever indebted to your tireless work of constant dedication, diligent effort and selfless love that you give to our children and myself.”
Apart from Beautiful Zeppelin and Halo Marie, Cannon is also father to twins Zion and Zillion, 1; twins Monroe and Moroccan, 11; son Legendary Love, 5 months; daughter Onyx Ice Cole, 3 months; sons Rise Messiah, 10 weeks, and Golden Sagon, 5; and daughter Powerful Queen, 2.
