The Harder They Fall is a new American Western movie directed by Jeymes Samuel, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Boaz Yakin. Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, Lakeith Stanfield, Delroy Lindo, and Regina King feature in the movie. Jonathan Majors was recruited to appear in the movie, which was revealed in July 2019.
The shooting was supposed to start in March 2020 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, however, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Shooting began in September but was halted on October 15 due to a COVID-19 positive actor. But now we have a release date and a trailer for the audience to see. Finally, the wait is over.
‘The Harder They Fall’ Storyline
Before we get into the release date, let’s have a look at the plot of the movie. ‘Nat Love resurrects his old gang in order to get vengeance on the man who murdered his parents.’ in brief, the movie depicts bandit Nat Love, who learns that his long-time adversary Rufus Buck is about to be released from prison.
He gathers his group to track Rufus down and exact vengeance. Stagecoach Mary, his previous sweetheart, and his right- and left-hand men, hot-tempered Bill Pickett and fast-drawing Jim Beckwourth are among those journeying with him. Rufus Buck has his own terrifying team, which includes “Treacherous” Trudy Smith and Cherokee Bill. Sounds interesting isn’t it?
‘The Harder The Fall’ Official Release Date Out
On October 6, 2021, the movie will have its global premiere at the BFI London Film Festival. On October 22, 2021, it will be featured at the Montclair Film Festival. It will have a limited release on October 22, 2021, before becoming available to stream on Netflix on November 3. So, if you’re going to watch the movie on Netflix. You’ll have to wait until November 3, 2021.

Three months ago, the official trailer for ‘The Harder They Fall’ was released. According to the Netflix press page, it appears that this movie will have a theatrical release as well, which could suggest that it will be given an awards campaign.
