NBC reveals ‘SNL’ hosts and musical guests for final shows of 2022
For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, that only the last 3 episodes of Saturday Night Live are remaining for this year. There will be live shows taking place on December 3, December 10, and December 17.
All of these remaining episodes will be filmed live from Rockefeller Center in New York City. At the moment, Saturday Night Live is in the midst of its 48th season, which kickstarted on October 1. Up until now, six episodes have been aired and there will be a total of nine episodes by the end of the year.
Who will be the host and musical guest for December 3, episode?
Host: Keke Palmer
The December 3, Saturday episode will be hosted by Keke Palmer. Lauren Keyana Palmer popularly known as Keke Palmer is an actress, and singer. Over the years, she has worked hard and established herself in the entertainment industry.
Keke made her acting debut with the 2004 film Barbershop 2: Back in Business. She played the niece of rapper and actress Queen Latifah in the movie. As a child actress, she bagged many roles in Madea’s Family Reunion (2006), Jump In! (2007), The Longshots (2008), and Shrink (2009).
Throughout her career, Palmer has received a Primetime Emmy Award, and five NAACP Image Awards. Apart from this, she released three extended plays: Lauren (2016), Virgo Tendencies, Pt. 1 (2019), and Virgo Tendencies, Pt. 2 (2020). She was recently seen in a film called Nope.
Musical guest: SZA
SZA will be the musical guest for the December 3, 2022 episode. Solána Imani Rowe who is best known by her stage name SZA is a singer. She started making music in the early 1990s.
At that time, the What Lovers Do singer dropped 2 extended before signing with the hip hop record label Top Dawg Entertainment, through which she released Z (2014), her third EP and first retail release.
SZA’s debut studio album titled Ctrl saw the light of day in the year 2017. It was well-received by the fans as well as critics. For the December 10, Saturday episode of the show SNL, longtime friends Steve Martin and Martin Short will be serving as hosts. Back in the day, the two of them starred together in Three Amigos! and now they are working on the show Only Murders in the Building.
Steve and Short are an iconic duo both on and off the screen, both of them first together in the comedy film Three Amigos! in 1986 and since then, these two have been making us laugh over their friendship.

The December 17, Saturday episode of SNL will be hosted by the Hollywood actor Austin Butler. He is best known for playing the role of the Can’t Help Falling in Love crooner Elvis Presley in the 2022 biographical film Elvis.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be serving as the musical guest for the December 17, episode of SNL. The indie rock band was formed in New York City in the year 2000. It comprises three members: vocalist and pianist Karen O, guitarist and keyboardist Nick Zinner, and drummer Brian Chase.
As per an interview that aired during ABC’s Live from Central Park SummerStage series, the band’s name was taken from modern New York City vernacular. Up until now, the band has released five studio albums: Fever To Tell (2003), Show Your Bones (2006), It’s Blitz! (2009), Mosquito (2013), and Cool It Down (2022).
