Another Japanese series has captivated the attention of anime spectators. My Dress-Up Darling follows Wakana Gojo, a first-year high school student who aspires to be a hina doll craftsman.
During his first semester, his prevalent classmate, the lovely Marin Kitagawa, on whom he has a crush, notices him making doll costumes in the school’s sewing room.
Kitagawa, who has wished to cosplay for a long time and has noticed Gojo’s sewing ability, asks him to make a costume for a character from a video game that she idolizes.
Despite the fact that Gojo has never made an outfit on a human level, he is motivated by Kitagawa’s fortitude and appears to agree to create one for her. Spectators are already anticipating a second season. And now is the time to talk about it.
Everything We Know About My Dress-Up Darling Season 2
The anime’s first season officially ended in March 2022. Those twelve episodes are undoubtedly the reason everyone is looking forward to more.
However, the show’s official social media handle announced a special event for viewers. Though another season of this anime has not been officially confirmed, the event could represent hope.
The anime’s special event will take place on September 17th in Japan later this year. They penned, “We have decided to hold a special event for the fans who support “My Dress-Up Darling!”

Another hint of the renewal would be that there’s still plenty of source material left. And it could possibly cover another season of the series.
My Dress-Up Darling Season One Conclusion
If there is another season of this anime, it will most likely pick up where the first season left off. If you haven’t seen the season, the following information may be a spoiler.
While Gojo is assisting Kitagawa with her hair ribbons in her apartment, he learns that her father has canceled her warm welcome to a summer festival because she has not completed her homework.
She also tells him she has been modeling for a publication in order to save up for a professional camera. Gojo is anxious when they plan to watch a horror movie because he has never seen one before.
By the final moment, however, he is analyzing the outfits, while Kitagawa is terrified. They then go to Kitagawa’s school to fetch her math drills, and Gojo saves Kitagawa from drowning when she falls into the pool.
Kitagawa invites Gojo to the festival after she finishes her homework, and he is taken aback by her appearance in a yukata, which makes her happy. They watch the fireworks together, and Gojo carries Kitagawa home because her feet have been shaken up from walking in sandals.
Back at home, Kitagawa calls Gojo and tells him she needs to hear his voice. Because she is frightened after watching another horror movie.
During their conversation, Gojo begins to fall asleep, and Kitagawa tells him that she loves him. That’s a huge cliffhanger, and we can’t wait to see what happens next.
The show’s official social media account may have hyped up the event in anticipation of the announcement of a new season. If one was scheduled, it would be a wonderful place and time to officially declare it.
However, these are only speculations. In the meantime, you should definitely check out the initial season. And we’ll keep you updated as soon as an announcement about a possible season is made.
