The nominees for the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards have been announced. Top Gun: Maverick is leading in the movies, while The Last of Us and Stranger Things lead in television shows with six nods each. The White Lotus and Wednesday are close behind, with four nominations each.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 7, at 8 p.m. ET. The event will be hosted by Drew Barrymore. Continue reading to see the full list of nominees.
MTV Movie & TV Awards 2023 Nominations
This year, two new categories have been introduced in the awards: best reality on-screen team and best kick-ass cast. Voting for all the 26 gender-neutral categories began on Wednesday, April 5 and will be live through April 17, 6 p.m. ET on vote.mtv.com. Here is the full list of nominations –
